LEEG-net (Legal & Economic Empowerment Global Network) plays a catalytic role in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - a universal call to action spearheaded by the United Nations to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
Guided by a human rights based approach, our mission is to foster legal innovation and empowerment of the poor and disadvantaged groups in meeting the “greatest global challenge of eradicating poverty” which is the unifying thread throughout the 17 SDGs and their 169 targets.
Lawyers, economists, academics and professionals in other disciplines, and organizations from anywhere in the world who are interested in learning more about our work and / or providing an intellectual input to our pro bono work (e.g. by contributing to our blog) are welcome to join the Network.
